Totally Awesome ‘Stranger Things’ Fair Coming to Santa Monica Pier

With just a few weeks to go until the launch of Stranger Things season 3, the Santa Monica Pier will be getting a strange makeover as part of a promotion for the release.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, and will have Stranger Things-themed carnival-style games and treats. There will even be a Curiosity House that will be Stranger Things-themed.

Even the rides at the pier are getting renamed for the event, such as the Pacific Ferris Wheel will be renamed the Hawkins Wheel. And, the Playland Arcade will become the Palace Arcade, which is where the boys met Max in season 2. Other activities include performances by the Hawkins High School Cheerleaders, ’80s cover bands, food eating contests, magicians, just to name a few.

This special limited time event will take place at the Santa Monica Pier from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day. Admission is free.
