Disneyland Resort Announces Returning Holiday Favorites

I have long said that Christmastime at the Disneyland Resort is the most magical time, and for good reason. There is never a shortage of holiday offerings around the resort, and 2019 will be no different. All of these offerings will be available between November 8, 2019, and January 6, 2020, while the Disneyland Resort is transformed into the Merriest Place on Earth!

Sleeping Beauty Winter Castle
First, Disney California Adventure park will welcome back “World of Color – Season of Light” for its fourth year. This holiday themed version of the fan-favorite nighttime spectacular brings Disney animation to life like never before with lights, lasers, water, fire, and hundreds of fountains, all set to classic holiday music! Also returning is the Festival of Holidays, bringing the sights, sounds, and tastes of international holidays such as Christmas/Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day to California Adventure. Finally, Cars Land will be getting into the Christmas spirit as two of its attractions will receive holiday overlays, turning into Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

Over in Disneyland park, Sleeping Beauty’s Castle will once again be transformed into a glistening Winter Castle. Entertainment favorites “A Christmas Fantasy” parade and “Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular will be returning to delight guests. And of course, the highly lauded attraction overlays of “Haunted Mansion Holiday” and “‘it’s a small world’ Holiday” will be making their triumphant returns this holiday season.

Also during the holiday season, the Downtown Disney District will be full of festive shopping, dining and entertainment and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort also join in the yuletide celebration with twinkling lights and ornaments, holiday displays, special entertainment, and holiday-inspired eats and treats.
