Candymonium, the tallest, fastest, longest, and “sweetest” coaster in Hersheypark, opens to the public on July 3. The new hypercoaster spans seven acres at the entrance of the all-new region of Hershey’s Chocolatetown.
Hersheypark released new fun facts about the coaster today and also some new photos of the station of the new coaster:
- 7 – camelback hills that serve up the ultimate feeling of freedom with the most airtime in Hersheypark146 – seconds (2 minutes and 26 seconds) of total ride time
76 MPH – max speed of the coaster, making it the fastest in Hersheypark
4,636 – feet of milk chocolate track runs throughout Chocolatetown, making Candymonium the longest coaster in Hersheypark
3 – candy-themed trains that represent the world-renowned Hershey Company brands of Hershey’s Kisses, Reese’sPeanut Butter Cups and Twizzlers
28 – seats on each coaster train
210 feet – the height of the first hill, making it the tallest in Hersheypark
77.3 – the degree of the first drop
169 feet – the height of the second hill
64 – the degree of the second drop
125 feet – the height of the hammerhead curve
123 – the degree of the hammerhead curve
156 feet – the height of the third hill
55 – the degree of the third drop
