Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Tickets, Express Pass, and Parking Information
Halloween Horror Nights 2026 is a separately ticketed event and is NOT included with your regular Universal Orlando Resort theme park admission. Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights usually go on sale in the summer. There are a variety of tickets to choose from, including single-day, multi-day, Frequent Fear passes, and MORE! We have all the details here for you.
If you purchase your tickets in advance and want to purchase an Express Pass for HHN at the event, Universal usually has Express booths set up throughout the parks for you to purchase when you’re at the park.
Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass
In a rush and need to get ALL 10 houses done in one night? Universal offers Express passes for the Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses. They are an extra fee ON TOP of your Halloween Horror Nights ticket, but might be worth the extra money if you need to get all of the houses done in one night.
Express Passes for Halloween Horror Nights 2026 start at $170 and go up to $280 on select peak nights.
TERROR TIP: It is always a good idea to purchase your Halloween Horror Nights tickets and Express Passes in ADVANCE. This not only saves you time but can save you MONEY as well!
TERROR TIP: Purchase your Halloween Horror Nights Express Passes EARLY! Prices tend to go up the closer the event gets. That and many nights will SELL OUT of Express Passes.
Single Day Tickets
Single-night tickets now start at $88, reflecting a modest $6 increase over last year’s entry price. As always, exact pricing varies by your selected date.
Scream Early ticket
- Get access to at least three haunted houses starting at 2 pm, plus time to enjoy the iconic attractions through regular scheduled daytime park closing.

Halloween Horror Nights Premium Scream Night
Premium Scream Night is back for 2026, with exclusive events held on August 27 and October 19. For a starting price of $400 per person, guests can enjoy a high-end haunt experience featuring significantly shorter house wait times, complimentary self-parking, and unlimited “all-you-care-to-enjoy” select food and non-alcoholic drinks.

PARKING at Halloween Horror Nights 2026
We receive a lot of questions about parking at Halloween Horror Nights 2026. Is it free? Do you have to pay? The short answer is yes, you do have to pay for parking at Halloween Horror Nights. Although Universal (normally) offers free parking after 6 p.m. during regular operating hours, this does not apply to Halloween Horror Nights. Guests will have to pay for parking. These prices are normally charged until around midnight, when parking becomes free.
Premier pass holder valet parking is NOT valid during Halloween Horror Nights.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour – Daytime experience
Not quite into Halloween Horror Nights 2026, but still want to experience the science behind it all. The Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour might be just for you. This add-on allows guests to experience the horror of Halloween Horror Nights, with the lights on and no scare actors! It’s a great way to see what goes on behind the scenes at the biggest Halloween event in the country! Pick from a 3 or 6-house tour. Theme park and/or event admission is not included or required to participate in a tour. (Pricing varies by date and tour selection, subject to availability.) Restrictions apply.
Unmasking the Horror Tour Includes:
- Exclusive behind-the-scenes access to 3 or 6 haunted houses in a lights-on, informational walking tour (once per house, based on itinerary. Tour inclusions are subject to itinerary, and Houses toured are at the discretion of Universal Orlando Resort.)
- Exclusive access to photograph select rooms in select haunted houses on the tour (as determined by the VIP Experience guidelines for the year’s event)

Pricing:
At a starting price of $100 per person, this tour offers a deep dive into the event’s artistry. Please note that you do not need a daytime park pass or a nightly HHN ticket to book this experience, as the tour takes place independently of regular park operations.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Rides & Attractions
If the spookiness isn’t quite your thing, Universal Orlando offers several of their normal ride and attractions for guests to enjoy during Halloween Horror Nights.
Here are the rides and attractions that will be open during Halloween Horror Nights 2026:
Stay & Scream / Early Arrival
One of the biggest questions asked is how to get ahead of the crowds for Halloween Horror Nights 2026 and take advantage of early entry. Given the event’s popularity, especially with the big-name properties that come, sometimes it can feel like there are not too many slow nights anymore. Sure, you can buy Express Passes or a private RIP Tour, but Stay and Scream will be your best way to see and do more at the event.
What to remember, though, is that anyone with admission to Universal Studios Florida during the day and also with admission for that evening’s event can use the early-entry feature. The gates close at 5 p.m. for normal guests, which means you must be inside the park before 5 p.m. to take advantage of this. Even if you have both a day ticket and an HHN ticket, and you arrive after 5 p.m., you will not be allowed inside until the event officially begins at 6:30 p.m.
In past years, those arriving early for Halloween Horror Nights or similar evening events were corralled into designated holding areas until the gates officially opened. But starting this year, the process is becoming much more guest-friendly — and it all starts at 3 p.m.
How It Works
When you arrive at the park after 3 p.m., you’ll receive a special wristband at one of three designated check-in locations:
- Lombard’s Seafood Grill
- Illumination’s Minion Café
- Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast
Once you’ve checked in, the real fun begins. Instead of being confined to a single area, you’ll be free to explore the park — whether you want to hop on a ride, watch a show, grab a bite to eat, shop for some exclusive merchandise, or simply enjoy the atmosphere before the night’s main event kicks off.

Each room of the HHN Tribute Store is elaborately themed to a specific house or theme, providing visitors with a unique experience in each room.
TERROR TIP: The HHN Tribute Store is normally open during BOTH regular theme park hours AND during Halloween Horror Nights! The line for the Tribute Store can get rather long during Halloween Horror Nights. If you are visiting on vacation, try visiting the Tribute Store during the daytime hours.

Halloween Horror Nights IV was the first year to introduce a “scare zone”, a name given to specific outdoor areas that feature theming and costumed characters with the intent of scaring people who walk through the areas.
