We got official confirmation today that the live action adaptation of ‘Mulan’ will be coming to Disney Plus on September 4, but for a price. The film will cost you $30 on top of the monthly Disney+ fee of $6.99. The film will still be coming to movie theaters in areas where Disney+ is not available and where movie theaters are currently open.
According to Kirsten Acuna on Twitter, once purchased, Disney+ subscribers will have continuous access to the film for as long as they remain subscribers to Disney Plus.
It was just last month that Disney announced ‘Mulan’ was delayed indefinitely and now we know why. The film was originally supposed to be released on March 27th, got delayed until July 24th, and was delayed once again to August 21st.
It was also announced during today’s earnings call that global subscribers for Disney+ has reached 60.5 million.
Will you be picking up ‘Mulan’ on Disney+? Let us know!
