Coming off the announcement of no Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom this year, Disneyland will not be hosting their annual Candlelight Ceremony at its park this holiday season due to uncertainty of the Disneyland area theme parks reopening in time for the holiday season.
The Disneyland Candlelight Ceremony tradition began in 1958 and features a live orchestra, handbell players, fanfare trumpeters and a celebrity narrator who tells the story of the first christmas between songs.
