Ronald D. Moore ( Battlestar Galactica) is developing a TV show based on popular attractions at Disney theme parks, according to THR.
The first show will be called ““The Society of Explorers and Adventurers.” Which for those of you that are hardcore Disney nerds, is the group that is featured several Disney theme park attractions, including Mystic Manor, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Soaring: Fantastic Flight, just to name a few.
It is mentioned that Moore is working closely with Walt Disney Imagineering on the show and is eventually hoping to grow this show into a “verse,” such as Marvel and Star Wars.
The news broke after Moore signed a multi-year deal with 20th Television, which is now part of Walt Disney Television.
Now when this happens, can we get Adventurers Club back at Disney Springs? (Wishful thinking)
