**UPDATE** Disneyland’s version of Jungle Cruise will be reopening on July 16, while Magic Kingdom’s version will remain open throughout its transformation.
The Jungle Cruise attraction will soon be getting some major enhancements throughout the attraction to make it more “culturally sensitive”. These enhancements will include certain scenes being completely overhauled throughout the attraction.
There’s been a lot of question just exactly when Disney will shut down the attraction to begin the work. Imagineer Zach Riddley confirmed via his Instagram that the ride will in fact remain open during the changes and will be completed in phases.
Zach mentions that ” The good news for all of you visiting @waltdisneyworld is the attraction will remain open to guests while our teams update scenes in a phased approach over the next several months.” There was no mention of the Disneyland version at this time.
