LEGOLAND Florida Resort will reward one Florida family with the gift of a lifetime: a four-year University Plan scholarship from their partners at Florida Prepaid, worth approximately $28,000 in celebration of the Theme Park’s 10th birthday.
Starting today, through April 22, families with children born on or after the Theme Park’s original open date, October 15, 2011, can enter this dream drawing for a chance to win. The winning family will also receive a special invitation to participate in the Theme Park’s brick-tastic birthday event later this fall. Families can read the full program details on LEGOLAND.com/scholarship.
Future scholars can also join in the birthday fun by building their own LEGO® birthday cake. Parents are encouraged to submit an image, drawing or short video of their kid’s LEGO birthday cake design on the scholarship submission page online for a chance to be a “spotlight builder” on the social media channels for LEGOLAND Florida Resort and be featured at LEGOLAND’s birthday celebration later this year. This submission is purely for fun and will not affect the scholarship selection.
Open Enrollment for Florida Prepaid Plans is currently open through April 30. This is the only time each year that families can lock in the price of a prepaid tuition plan and optional prepaid dormitory plans. Prepaid Plans are designed to help families maximize their college savings by picking a plan to fit their savings goals and locking in the future cost of college for less.
The scholarship-winning family will be selected at random after the contest closes at 5 p.m. on April 22. Parents, grandparents, or guardians must be 18 years of age or older and legal Florida residents to enter the contest. Child must have been born on or after October 15, 2011 to be eligible. Families can review the full rules and details at LEGOLAND.com/scholarship. The winning family will be notified on Friday, April 23.
