Walt Disney World has updated their COVID-19 policies and will phase out onsite temperature screenings for cast members beginning May 8 and guests beginning May 16.

The website reads: As this guidance continues to evolve, and with the support of local health and government officials, we are making some additional adjustments. Following the advice of the CDC and our local health officials, we will phase out onsite temperature screenings at Walt Disney World Resort for Cast Members beginning May 8 and Guests on May 16.

You can view the updated measures here.

Note, this does NOT effect Disneyland in California. They will still require temperature checks at their parks.

Universal Orlando will also be phasing our temperature checks before guests enter CityWalk beginning Thursday, May 6. They will also be reducing social distancing to 3 feet.

SeaWorld and their parent parks, including their water parks and Busch Gardens have also removed temperature checks from their parks. The temperature check section has been removed from the websites.
