Anne Fletcher will direct, taking over from her friend Adam Shankman who was the director for the original 1993 “Hocus Pocus.”
According to the official snyopsis, the sequel will “accidentally bring the Sanderson sisters back to modern-day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.”
The film will be going straight to Disney Plus in the fall of 2022.
