According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hayden Christensen will return to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in the live-action Ahsoka Tano series.
During Disney’s investor day in December of 2020, it was announced that Hayden Christensen will be returning as Anakin Skywalker in the new Disney+ TV show, Obi-Wan Kenobi, starring alongside Ewan McGregor.
The series, set to start production in Early 2022, is assumed to be around the same timeframe as The Mandalorian. With it being in that same timeframe, it is unknown the scope of Christensen’s role or the impact it will have on the series including The Mandalorian’s next season as well.
Outside of the news of Christensen in “Ahsoka”, The only solid information we do have about the new series is that it’s being written by Dave Filoni and Executive Produced by Jon Favreau, Both of which work on The Mandalorian series.
