Gideon’s Bakehouse is ringing in the new year with a new Cookie flavor, the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie. Also they are debuting a new character, Dr. Tobias Brimstone. He is inspired by former Imagineer Joe Rohde, including his iconic earring. The new character has an Adventurers Club look to him and is available on a t-shirt, limited edition print and candle on their website.
First up is the new cookie, the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie. The cookie is availabe at the Disney Springs and East End Market locations through January. Limit two per person. Here is the description from their website:
“The Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie is a title that says it all! Enjoy a decadent Vanilla Bean Cookie infused with Bananas found in the lost jungles of Southeast Asia by adventurer, explorer and scientist, Dr. Tobias Brimstone. We’ve mixed this flavorful gift with our favorite blend of Chocolates, Candied Walnuts, and finely crushed Banana Chips! The Bananas are said to hold unique properties that bring good fortune to all who experience their flavor!”

“For those who have followed our story, it’s little mystery that Gideon’s inherited an assemblage of rare and strange items when we took over the space vacated long ago by the curious bookseller Jonathan Lindwurm. But the question remains, how did he acquire such fascinating objects? Ladies and gentlemen, may we introduce you to Dr. Tobias Brimstone, the explorer, adventurer, and scientist hired to hunt down pieces for Mr. Lindwurm’s vast collection. It’s said the intrepid Doctor would venture to the darkest reaches of the globe in search of ancient books, idols, and other antiquities. In some instances, Dr. Brimstone was sent to investigate unbelievable tales of unique creatures.
