Mickey Mouse Lights Up Eiffel Tower Celebrating Disneyland Paris’s 30th Anniversary

For the very first time, the French monument was lit up in the iridescent colors of the 30^th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris. Thanks to a unique sound and light show, custom-designed for the occasion, the iconic monument was illuminated during a dazzling moment created to surprise 30 guests who have a strong bond with the resort. Cast Members – Disneyland Paris employees – who have worked at the resort since opening day, selfless Cast Members known as Disney VoluntEARS who give their time to philanthropic activities, fans, and loyal guests had the exclusive opportunity to watch this show in real-time.

These 30 guests experienced an unforgettable night, starting their evening off in Disneyland Paris. Guests enjoyed dining at Walt’s – an American Restaurant and viewing Disney D-Light, an emotional sequence that takes place before the nighttime spectacular Disney Illuminations. Then, they boarded a bus that took them to an unknown destination…

Minnie Mouse welcomed these honored guests in front of the Eiffel Tower to bring them to their exclusive viewing area and Mickey became the Master of Ceremonies of an incredible show, that lit up the Trocadéro gardens located in front of the monument. This spectacular display that combined more than 370 lights ended with an exceptional finale where Mickey lit up the Eiffel Tower in the magical colors of the 30^th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris.
