Today during a media event where we got new details about Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, we got a sneak peek at some of the merchandise that guests will be able to purchase on the island.
According to Disney Cruise Line, a lot of the inspiration going into Lookout Cay is based upon a Bahimian festival called Junkaroo. Junkanoo is a Bahamian cultural celebration that includes dance, music, spirituality, and a celebration of freedom. And much of the merchandise is inspired by that same culture, as you can see above with some of the t-shirts, which are all inspired by the Fab 5.
Here is a look at a few pieces from the Theodore Elyett collection. Fun fact, Theodore also designed Mickey & Minnie’s costumes for the the island destination.
A new pin set based on the Fab 5 will be released, which will also be inspired by the rich Bahamian culture of the island.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney merchandise reveal without a look at the Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Loungefly bag.
Here is a look at an adorable Mickey & Minnie plush set that will be available.
And last but certainly not least, here is a look at the Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point spirit jersey.
