Universal Orlando Resort Seeks Superfans to Appear in “The Fanny Pack” YouTube Series

Calling all Universal Orlando Resort superfans! Discover Universal, the destination’s trip-planning hub, is on the hunt for theme park enthusiasts to be the stars of its brand-new YouTube series, The Fanny Pack. The vlogger-style series will feature a rotating cast of diverse fans, appropriately titled “The Fanny Pack,” highlighting all there is to experience at Universal Orlando through unscripted and improvised video segments, challenges and additional fun video content.

The series’ audition process will ask fans to grab their camera and submit a vlogger-style tour of their favorite local spot while answering questions to learn more about them and their love for Universal Orlando. The casting call is looking for authentic, witty, adventurous and outgoing personalities with a passion for theme parks, fandoms, thrill rides and pop culture. Fans auditioning for The Fanny Pack must also have experience crafting or interacting with social media content, be genuinely interested in being a content creator and be knowledgeable about tips for vacationing at Universal Orlando. Experience vlogging or creating digital content is preferred but not required, and at this time, fans must reside in the Orlando, Florida area to audition.

The Fanny Pack will live under the Discover Universal umbrella of digital series that includes The Ride Guys, which takes guests on an entertaining tour of top rides while sharing the key details they want to know; Checked-In, which provides a tour of all eight magnificently themed Universal hotels including lobbies, rooms, pools and amenities; and Dine and Ride, which takes viewers on a culinary quest of elevated theme park fare.
