Taking a break from their undefeated start to the NWSL season, several Orlando Pride players marked National Water Park Day and National Soccer Day on Sunday, July 28 by making a splash at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon in Florida.

To celebrate their successful start to the season, the players, including forwards Summer Yates, Ally Watt, and Mariana Larroquette; goalkeepers Sofia Manner and McKinley Crone; and defender Celia Jiménez Delgado, spent the day at the tropical-oasis-themed water park at Walt Disney World Resort, a short drive from their team headquarters. The day was filled with relaxation, team spirit, and thrilling attractions, providing the perfect respite before they resume their competitive season.

The players took photos at some of the park’s most social media-friendly locations as well as experienced many of the park’s signature attractions, a few exhilarating water slides and the leisurely Castaway Creek lazy river.

Typhoon Lagoon is widely regarded as one of the nation’s most popular water parks. The park features attractions for the entire family, such as North America’s largest wave pool, as well as restaurant-style food and beverage offerings. The park also hosts H2O Glow After Hours, a nighttime glow-in-the-dark party that takes place on select nights throughout the summer.
