Disney’s youngest African elephant, Corra, turned ONE on Friday! To celebrate her big day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, she received an early birthday surprise from her keepers packed with tasty treats like sweet potato, bamboo, and peanut butter. The special moment sparked her curious and playful nature – and like any toddler, she may have left a little bit of a mess! Her mom Nadirah joined in on the fun and enjoyed a treat or two! This milestone highlights her growing bond with her family herd, including her mother Nadirah, aunts Stella and Luna, and her grandmother Donna.

Over the past year, when she wasn’t exploring her habitat on Kilimanjaro Safaris, Corra reached several significant developmental milestones. These included her first experiences with solid foods (she loves sweet potatoes) and participation in voluntary health exams.
