Disney+ Releases Trailer For ‘Andor’ Season 2
Today, Disney+ released the teaser trailer and poster for the highly anticipated second season of Lucasfilm’s Emmy Award®-nominated thriller Andor, which returns for its long-awaited conclusion on April 22. Season 2 will see the characters and their relationships intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices, and conflicting agendas will become profound.
The series is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which set the scene for the events of the original 1977 film by showing a valiant group of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction, the Death Star. It is full of political intrigue, danger, tension, and high stakes. In order to tell the story of Cassian Andor, the film’s protagonist, and his journey from a cynical, uninterested nobody to a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny, Andor turns the clock back five years from the events of Rogue One.
Twelve episodes, divided into four chapters of three episodes each, will make up the final season. The first chapter will be released on Tuesday, April 22. Each week after that, new chapters will be released.
