Spring in Bloom at Gaylord Palms: A Season of Festivities, Flowers, and Family Fun!

Spring has arrived at Gaylord Palms Resort, bringing a blossoming lineup of seasonal activities from March 7 through April 20, 2025. Guests can immerse themselves in a pastel paradise of vibrant flowers, embark on a whimsical scavenger hunt, splash into spring with poolside entertainment, and enjoy a host of special Easter-themed events.

This year’s celebration is extra special as it coincides with the first spring season following Gaylord Palms’ extensive $134-million renovation. Guests will be among the first to experience the resort’s stunning new lobby, refreshed guest rooms and suites, and redesigned restaurants and event spaces.

A Blooming Wonderland in the Atrium

Gaylord Palms’ 4.5-acre indoor garden atrium transforms into a breathtaking spring scene with over 1,000 brightly colored daffodils and tulips. At the heart of it all, the Eggspression Garden features larger-than-life painted eggs and a whimsical Easter egg archway, perfect for capturing the ultimate springtime selfie.

Gnome Scavenger Hunt & Illuminating Nighttime Fun

Guests can test their detective skills in the Garden Gnome Getaway Scavenger Hunt, searching for hidden pint-sized gnomes throughout the lush atrium. At night, the “Bloom” light show takes over, with dazzling LED projections of flowers, bunnies, and other spring-inspired imagery illuminating the resort’s soaring ceilings.

Sunshine, Splashing & Dive-In Movies

The Cypress Springs Water Park is the place to be for sun-soaked fun, featuring the Sunshine Splash Bash with a live DJ, high-energy games, and entertainment. As the sun sets, families can float under the stars with Dive-In Movies on Fridays and Saturdays.

Meet & Greet with the Easter Bunny and Adventure Kids

The Easter Bunny will make special appearances on select dates in the Eggspression Garden, while younger explorers can enjoy interactive meet and greets with The Adventure Kids – Seth the Sea Turtle, Ava the Alligator, and Adventure Kid Sophie at Cypress Springs.

Wildlife Encounters & Augmented Reality Adventures

On Saturdays, guests can get up close with Florida’s famous wildlife during Animal Encounters, or go on a high-tech adventure with the Wildlife Rescue AR Experience, presented by bubly, where they can use their smartphones to track down virtual animals throughout the resort.

Spring in Bloom Packages for the Ultimate Getaway

Two Spring in Bloom packages are available for guests looking to make the most of their spring escape. Each includes accommodations, $50 in resort credit, and a scavenger hunt booklet for the family. The Premium Spring in Bloom package offers an upgrade to an atrium-view room, giving guests a front-row seat to the “Bloom” light show from the comfort of their balcony.
