Six Flags Magic Mountain Releases 2025 Signature Events Schedule

Six Flags Magic Mountain, the undisputed Thrill Capital of the World, welcomes the return of fan-favorite events and experiences ahead of spring break, which unofficially kicks off the 2025 season. In addition to the rides, guests can look forward to exciting live entertainment, festive décor, and limited-time food offerings.
In celebration of spring break, summer, and the holiday seasons, Magic Mountain will be open daily for select periods including March 7–April 28, May 16–Aug. 18, Nov. 21–Dec. ,1 and Dec. 12–Jan. 4, 2026.
The 2025 events lineup includes:

DC Heroes and Villains (Fridays and Saturdays, June 20–July 12) — Join the ultimate summer showdown of DC Heroes versus Villains, featuring exclusive character appearances, live entertainment, and more! Located in DC UNIVERSE starting at 5 p.m.

Star Spangled Nights (July 4–5) — Commemorate Independence Day with a breathtaking patriotic fireworks show. Experience an unforgettable fireworks display, synchronized to the stirring tunes of patriotic music. Perfect for all ages, celebrate the spirit of our nation.

Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS® (Select nights Sept. 19–Nov. 2) — Fright Fest features frightful haunted houses, eerie scare zones, and spine-chilling top-notch live entertainment. Discover your scream at Six Flags Fright Fest.

Oktoberfest (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, Sept. 26–Nov. 2) — Experience Germany’s world-famous Oktoberfest at Magic Mountain with authentic German food, beverages, music, and family-friendly entertainment. Plus, the park’s most popular rides are open, making Oktoberfest a must-do event for the whole family.
- *NEW* Tricks and Treats (Daytime, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, Sept. 26–Nov. 2) — Bigger and better than previous BooFests, experience Halloween like never before at Tricks and Treats, Magic Mountain’s family-friendly daytime Halloween event. From mischievous tricks and tasty treats to spooky, kooky Halloween activities for kids and adults and so much more, everyone in the family is sure to have a boo-last. Come dressed in your finest Halloween attire for the costume contest.* Don’t miss the skeleTONS of delicious seasonal treats, drinks, and, of course, candy! If that’s not fang-tastic enough, enjoy your favorite family rides delivering amazing thrills and chills.
*Note – Guests of all ages are welcome to wear costumes during the daytime Tricks and Treats event. Costumes are restricted for guests of all ages attending the nighttime Fright Fest event. For those guests enjoying both events, a change of clothes is required. Costume guidelines may be found on the event page of the website.
