Disneyland Paris has revealed new details about the future The Lion King attraction coming to Disney Adventure World
Construction will begin this Fall. This will be an brand new flume style attraction blending a with state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics technology that will take guests into the the heart of the Pride Lands, where Simba will be to take guests on an adventure that will include songs from the 1994 animated film.
After going through the caves beneath the 120 foot tall Pride Rock, guests will embark on an adventure through iconic scenes from the animated movie, navigating a path with three exciting drops including an 52 foot tall descent. Many Audio-Animatronics figures will scattered across the highly detailed scenes throughout the attraction along with special effects and an the well known film soundtrack. This will be one of the biggest attractions at Disneyland Paris!
Michel Den Dulk, Vice President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering says “We are looking forward to launching the construction of this new immersive world inspired by the Lion King and its major attraction, which will mark another milestone for Disney Adventure World. The main attraction will showcase the key features of Disney experiences: loveable characters, an unforgettable soundtrack, immersive décor and effects, and exciting thrills thoughtfully delivered throughout the adventure. All of the Imagineers who work on this project have their hearts set on paying a vibrant homage to this timeless masterpiece by creating unforgettable memories for all our guests.”
