Disney Cruise Line announced various new details about the upcoming Disney Destiny ship coming later this year, including new food, new show details, and merchandise.
Inspired by Black Panther, the Grand Hall aboard the Disney Destiny (seen above) offers an immersive, ever-changing experience that shifts between heroic and villainous atmospheres. During the day, it feels bright and welcoming like a hero’s domain—but it can suddenly transform into a mystical realm with dynamic 360-degree lighting and effects tied to the presence of iconic characters.
One highlight is the arrival of Loki from Marvel’s Loki series. True to his mischievous nature, he’ll attempt to claim the ship as his own, making dramatic appearances, twisting familiar tales, and possibly enlisting guests in humorous competitions to show their loyalty—or explain odd Earth customs like all-you-can-eat soft serve. Expect chaos, charisma, and lots of surprises.
Aboard the Disney Destiny, guests will get to interact with Disney villains in brand-new, immersive ways:

Cruella de Vil will take center stage with two exclusive experiences. She’ll host a fashion runway event where guests can strut their style and receive her fabulous (and brutally honest) commentary. She may also lead a musical moment, inviting guests to help rewrite the “Cruella de Vil” song into a more flattering anthem.

Dr. Facilier will charm guests in the Grand Hall with parlor tricks, sleight of hand, and games of chance, where the stakes are mischievously low, but the fun is high.

Maleficent will command the Saga entertainment lounge with spellbinding displays of magic. Guests can either admire her powers from afar or dare to approach for a closer encounter with the Mistress of Evil.
New Merchandise
Guests sailing during the Disney Destiny’s debut season can snag exclusive keepsakes from the Inaugural Collection, inspired by the Grand Hall’s deep blue, rich purple, and gold color palette. The collection includes stylish apparel, elegant home décor, and accessories from popular brands like Loungefly and Pandora—perfect for fans looking to take home a bit of the magic.
The Disney Destiny Logo Collection will feature modern, stylish adult apparel and accessories showcasing the Disney Cruise Line logo and a custom line drawing of the ship’s bow. Designed in bold onyx and gold with sleek tone-on-tone patterns, the collection offers standout, fashion-forward pieces with a clean, minimalist flair.
The Super Character Collection, inspired by the Disney Destiny’s “heroes and villains” theme and Hero Minnie’s bow emblem, features playful, comic book-style designs of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto as “hydro heroes” with unique superpowers. This vibrant collection includes apparel, accessories, plush toys, pins, and drinkware—perfect for fans of all ages.
Celebrating the Disney Destiny’s unique personality and standout design, the Disney Destiny Ship Collection will feature signature Disney vacation souvenirs. Starting in late May, guests booked on a Disney Destiny cruise can pre-order a brand-new Disney Destiny DisneyBand+, featuring Captain Minnie Mouse and the ship.
Guests sailing on the Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage on November 20 will also get an exclusive chance to pre-order a special selection of new merchandise and collectible items later this summer. Additional details about this pre-sale event will be available soon on the MyReservation page.
New Eats
Inspired by Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, this venue will showcase enchanted artifacts designed to help sorcerers defend the world. Guests can explore intricate design elements inspired by Rune Shields, along with iconic items like the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from Kamar-Taj’s legendary library.
Centrally located, the entertainment parlor will host a range of activities throughout the voyage and offer guests of all ages a spellbinding selection of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffee. Expect to be enchanted by the mystic art of mixology, featuring tableside drink experiences and exclusive menu items that appear to emerge from the multiverse itself.
- Circle of the Cosmos – Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice garnished with a lemon peel spiral
- Vapors of Valtorr – Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup topped with berry-flavored bubbles

Edna Á La Mode Sweets
Edna Mode’s lab—where the iconic fashion designer from Pixar’s The Incredibles creates super suits for the world’s greatest heroes—will be reimagined as a unique confectionery aboard the Disney Destiny. Drawing inspiration from the Auntie Edna short film, the lab’s sleek, high-tech sewing tools will be cleverly repurposed into whimsical candy-making machines designed to amuse and delight the ever-unpredictable super baby, Jack-Jack.
With a design inspired by the signature style of The Incredibles films, this futuristic space combines sleek, tech-inspired elements with delightful surprises for super fans. The walls will feature Edna’s sketches and high-fashion artwork, while the front window displays costume models of the latest suits for Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. Families can strike heroic poses next to a fun sculpture of Jack-Jack and Edna working on her cookie recipe, and they may even spot Rocky the raccoon trying to snatch a plate of cookies from a nearby garbage can.
The menu at Edna Mode’s lab will offer an array of handmade gelato, ice cream, candies, and specialty treats, including cupcakes inspired by the Parr family heroes, decadent gourmet popsicles, homemade chocolate bark, and, of course, an endless supply of the beloved Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums.

Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King
The iconic songs and unforgettable moments of The Lion King will come to life in this one-of-a-kind dining experience, celebrating the legendary music of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
As families enjoy their meal, a vibrant cast of live performers will take the stage, guiding guests on a musical journey through the award-winning soundtrack while retelling Simba’s journey from cub to king. Charismatic storytellers, Mwongozo and Shaha, will narrate this timeless tale of family and destiny, bringing the story to life with soulful narration, powerful vocals, and creative costumes that let them embody various characters. The experience will also feature an interpretive dancer and a trio of live musicians playing authentic African instruments, adding an uplifting and dynamic energy to the meal.

- Nala’s Roasted Pork Tenderloin – Black-eyed bean-chorizo casserole, fried yuca, thyme, and pickled purple onions

- Pineapple Upside Down Cake – Moist yogurt cake, caramelized pineapple, cherries, and rooibos mousse
- Warm Chocolate Malva Pudding – Sweet vanilla pudding, apricot jam, warm buttery cream sauce, and vanilla ice cream
- Can You Feel the Rum Tonight? – Starr 7 Year Oak Aged Rum, Amarula Cream Liqueur, mango smoothie mix, a pinch of cinnamon, shaken with ice, and garnished with a fresh mint leaf
- Slimy Yet Satisfying – Sprite infused with lime gelatin and garnished with centipede and worm gummies

Guests can unwind in style with a selection of trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and elegant wines and bubblies. The avant-garde menu will showcase designer drinks inspired by characters and icons from both Walt Disney Animation Studios and live-action films, each garnished to reflect the glamorous legacy of these fashion-forward figures.
Here are a few of the drinks that will be available inside this lounge:
- Fashionista – Freeze-dried strawberry and banana-infused Patron Añejo Cristalino Tequila with banana liqueur, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice clarified with milk and chilled. Served with strawberry shortcake popcorn
- Fearless Sir Galahad – Free Spirits Non-alcoholic Bourbon, bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup, and Angostura bitters finished with aromatic smoke
‘Disney Hercules’ Stage Show
“Disney Hercules” will offer a fresh, contemporary take on the beloved film, staying true to its story and spirit while celebrating its iconic soundtrack. Featuring live renditions of classic songs like “Go the Distance,” “Zero to Hero,” and “I Won’t Say I’m in Love,” the show will bring these hits to life with new musical arrangements inspired by the soulful energy of gospel music and the high-energy vibe of a pop concert.
In addition to the film’s classic songs, the show will also debut the heartfelt ballad “Shooting Star,” written by Alan Menken and David Zippel for the movie but never before performed on stage.
The show will feature all your favorite gods, mortals, and mythical beings, with many of them reimagined in surprising new ways. True to the film, the Muses will be the storytellers, showcasing their over-the-top personalities and powerful vocals. The costumes will reflect the opulence of the gods of Mount Olympus, contrasting with the simpler, more humble attire of the Earth’s mortals and creatures.
Award-winning puppet designer Michael Curry will bring larger-than-life characters to life through stunning puppetry, including mythological giants like the multi-headed Hydra that Hercules must defeat on his hero’s journey. These massive puppets will add a dramatic, immersive element to the story.
Developed exclusively for the Disney Destiny, “Disney Hercules” will be one of three stage shows aboard the ship, alongside fan-favorites “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” and “Disney Seas the Adventure.”
