SeaWorld Orlando is about to take guests on an epic journey into the frozen wilds with the debut of Expedition Odyssey, officially opening May 1, 2025. Touted as the most immersive Arctic experience ever created, this brand-new attraction combines next-gen ride tech, real-world Arctic footage, and up-close encounters with wildlife in one unforgettable experience.
The ride places guests in a high-tech vehicle that glides, dives, and soars through a fully immersive environment—no CGI here, just exclusive, custom-shot footage from the Arctic itself. Along the way, explorers will encounter polar bears, orcas, walruses, seals, and more in an awe-inspiring journey that’s as educational as it is thrilling.
The experience continues beyond the ride with a live animal habitat featuring real Arctic wildlife. Among the stars is Uki, an orphaned Pacific walrus calf rescued from Alaska, now thriving in her new home. Guests will be able to see her and other Arctic species up close in a state-of-the-art environment designed to connect people with the wonders of the natural world.
Family-friendly with a height requirement of just 39 inches, Expedition Odyssey is designed for guests of all ages. It’s also entirely indoors, making it a perfect stop rain or shine.
