As Kings Island gears up for its 2025 season opening this Saturday, the park is inviting guests to check out a fresh take on one of its fan-favorite roller coasters. Debuting today is the newly renamed Queen City Stunt Coaster, formerly known as Backlot Stunt Coaster, which marks its 20th anniversary this season. The ride, known for accelerating from 0 to 40 mph in just three seconds, now pays tribute to Cincinnati with theming that highlights the city’s iconic skyline and landmarks.
Season Passholders will get an exclusive first ride during today’s preview event, running from noon to 9:00 p.m. The park opens to all guests this Saturday.
