Star Wars Celebration Japan has officially kicked off! Fans from across the globe are gathering at Makuhari Messe for the ultimate Star Wars experience, and I wanted to share some exciting updates on new consumer products and publishing announcements revealed earlier today.
Launching today, the latest product reveals include action figures, books, and other merchandise from beloved licensees such as Hasbro, the LEGO Group, Random House Worlds, Dark Horse Comics, and VIZ Media.

Hasbro Star Wars Panel
Today, Hasbro announced new additions to the Black Series and Vintage collection figure lines during their Star Wars panel, including the new BLACK SERIES CAL KESTIS, TURGLE & SKOOVA STEV multifigure pack, BLACK SERIES NIGHTSISTER MERRIN figure, the VINTAGE COLLECTION MOFF GIDEON (DARK TROOPER ARMOR) figure and the VINTAGE COLLECTION BANTHA & TUSKEN RAIDER 2-PACK. The LEGO Star Wars K-2SO Building Set Revealed on the Star Wars Celebration LIVE! Stage
Today on the Star Wars Celebration LIVE! Stage, the LEGO Group revealed the new LEGO® Star Wars™ K-2SO™ Security Droid building set to fans in attendance alongside 1:1 LEGO replica of the reprogrammed security droid. The LEGO Star Wars K-2SO Security Droid set will be available on August 1, 2025 on LEGO.com and in LEGO stores worldwide. Today, Disney Lucasfilm Publishing hosted two packed panels with a series of exciting announcements. The first panel, ‘Manga Mania!’ announced a new Kickstarter campaign for Star Wars: A New Hope from Dark Horse, in addition to teasers for upcoming releases from VIZ Media, Marvel Comics and more. During the second panel, centered around the overall Star Wars publishing slate / The High Republic conclusion, over 10+ new reveals and announcements were made from new comics, visual guides and a 50th anniversary book for ILM, to the final series in The High Republic era and so much more! Ubisoft Shares First Look at Star Wars™ Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune, and Announces that Star Wars Outlaws Comes to Nintendo Switch 2
Today, Ubisoft debuted the trailer for the game’s second story pack, A Pirate’s Fortune, showing a sneak peek of the heart-pounding adventure available on May 15. For fans who haven’t jumped in yet, a free demo* that features parts of the base game is now available on these platforms where Star Wars Outlaws is already available: Ubisoft+, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store and Steam. Ubisoft also announced that the game will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4.
As part of the Title Update alongside Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune launch on May 15, all players will be gifted cosmetic items inspired by Skeleton Crew, for Nix and the speeder.
