Once known as Disney Studio 1, World Premiere is the latest step in the exciting makeover of Disneyland Paris’ second park, which will soon become Disney Adventure World when the expansion opens in 2026. This revamped entrance area drops you right into the middle of a glamorous Hollywood movie premiere, all under a magical, starry sky that never fades. Guests can grab a bite at the Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, browse for souvenirs at Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique, or just soak in all the fun Disney and L.A. details tucked into every corner. World Premiere also leads into World Premiere Plaza, packed with theaters and shows, and opens the door to epic new worlds like Marvel Avengers Campus and World of Frozen, set to open in 2026.
Even though the actual construction took about a year, the journey to create World Premiere started three years ago with the Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams. They kicked things off by crafting a brand-new story for the space, studying the old building’s structure, and testing out different design ideas before locking in the right materials and technical plans to bring it all to life. It was a big challenge, especially for such a central spot that welcomes every guest daily in one of the park’s busiest areas! To celebrate the milestone, the Imagineers gathered for a group photo, bringing together everyone who helped make it happen, from artistic directors and producers to architects and engineers.
The transformation of World Premiere Plaza will continue over the coming months, making sure everything is set by the time the full park expansion opens in 2026.
