The Muppets are ready to rock Disney’s Hollywood Studios in a brand-new way. Starting in 2026, the fan-favorite Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will transform into Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, featuring the legendary sounds of the Electric Mayhem and plenty of Muppet-style chaos along the way.
The Electric Mayhem’s Biggest Gig Yet
The story kicks off as the Electric Mayhem prepare for their biggest Hollywood concert ever – but there’s one little problem: the band is nowhere to be found. Over at G-Force Records, now under new “management” by The Muppets, guests are treated to a VIP tour of the studio, complete with penguin audio engineers and plenty of offbeat surprises.
Scooter works overtime to wrangle Animal, Dr. Teeth, and the rest of the band while Scooter’s uncle, J.P. Grosse, lends his influence to give The Muppets their new recording digs.
A Muppet Makeover
The attraction’s iconic guitar façade is also getting a colorful update. A new psychedelic design inspired by a classic Muppet paint job will decorate the base, while the piano keys will feature a golden key as a nod to Dr. Teeth. Expect the entrance to carry the same loud, playful energy that fans have come to expect from The Muppets.
From Studio to Stage
Once inside, guests are whisked into the recording studio where the Electric Mayhem are deep in jam mode. When Scooter finally convinces them to head to the stage, the real adventure begins. Thanks to a little help from Muppet Labs, riders will jump into a high-speed limousine ride through a Muppet-fied Hollywood, racing to make it to the concert in time.
As you twist and turn through the neon streets, the soundtrack will feature some of the band’s most iconic hits, blasting through your speakers for an adrenaline-fueled, music-packed ride.
More to Come
Disney has teased that additional details – including the concert setlist – will be revealed closer to opening. For now, fans can mark 2026 as the year Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster gets a Muppet-sized dose of Electric Mayhem energy.
