Disney has officially announced the opening date for Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, the brand-new 4D show coming to the Tree of Life Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Guests can join Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and a host of new characters when the curtain rises on November 7, 2025.
A Celebration of Unity in Zootopia
Set during Zoogether Day, a festival celebrating the harmony of Zootopia’s diverse biomes, the show combines humor, music, and breathtaking visuals. Guests will meet new characters like Heidi Howler, a slick-talking wolf who serves as host of the live broadcast, alongside familiar faces from the Zootopia films.
From ice-skating performances in Tundratown to synchronized swimming from Marsh Market, and even a dazzling mouse-sized drone show over Little Rodentia, the celebration culminates in a musical finale starring pop icon Gazelle.
Disney Animation Meets Imagineering
The show reunites fans with voice talent from the original films, including Ginnifer Goodwin (Judy Hopps) and Jason Bateman (Nick Wilde). Behind the scenes, Disney Animation filmmakers Jared Bush and Byron Howard collaborated closely with Walt Disney Imagineering, ensuring the story and visuals feel true to both the original Zootopia and its upcoming sequel, Zootopia 2, which hits theaters on November 26, 2025.
Judy and Nick Meet-and-Greet
In addition to the new attraction, guests will be able to meet Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot near Discovery Island. Both will appear in new outfits inspired by Zootopia 2, making this meet-and-greet a must-do for fans of the films.
A Wild Addition to Animal Kingdom
With its mix of humor, technology, and heart, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is designed to highlight the interconnectedness of the natural world while offering plenty of fun for the whole family. It’s a perfect addition to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, fitting seamlessly alongside the park’s themes of wildlife, conservation, and storytelling.
