SeaWorld Orlando’s Spooktacular Returns with New Treats, Characters, and Family Fun

SeaWorld Orlando’s fan-favorite Spooktacular event is back for 2025, bigger and splashier than ever. Running on select dates August 30 through November 2, 2025, this daytime Halloween celebration is included with park admission and is designed for kids and families looking for festive, not-too-frightening fun.

From immersive trick-or-treat trails to lively dance parties, parades, and new character encounters, this year’s Spooktacular promises more ways than ever to celebrate the season.

Family-Friendly Highlights

  • Trick-or-Treat Trail – Guests can stop by 12 candy stations throughout the park. New this year, reusable treat bags feature exclusive 2025 designs with Sesame Street pals and SeaWorld animals. Pass Members can snag a limited-edition “skull bag” at Flamingo Gifts. A bag purchase is required for participation.

  • NEW! Meet Spookley the Square Pumpkin – The beloved character makes his SeaWorld debut with a themed maze and meet-and-greet, bringing a positive message of acceptance and celebrating differences.

  • Harvest Maze – Redesigned with a Spookley theme, this playful maze is perfect for little adventurers.

  • Mermaid Meet-and-Greet – Families can head to the Key West area to meet SeaWorld’s shimmering mermaids.

  • Pumpkin Garden & Storyteller – Wander through a whimsical pumpkin fish garden and enjoy seasonal tales.

  • Sesame Street Halloween Parade – Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Count von Count, and more hit the streets in colorful Halloween costumes.

  • Storytime with Big Bird – Gather around the nest for special story sessions.

  • Halloween Cookie Decorating – Join a Sesame Street friend to decorate cookies (kits sold separately).

  • Dance Parties – Groove at the Bubble Dance Party and Scarecrow Halloween Dance Party.

  • NEW! Crafts, Contests & Scavenger Hunts – Hands-on fun, weekly costume contests, and an all-new scavenger hunt with sweet surprises.

  • Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast – A premium buffet with character appearances and photo ops, featuring favorites like glazed ham, French toast sticks, and pastries.

  • Teal Pumpkin Program – Allergy-friendly trick-or-treating with teal token stations for safe prize redemption.

  • Costumes Welcome – Guests of all ages can dress up, though costume masks and hoods are not permitted for ages 13 and older.

Year-Round Fun with the 2026 Fun Card

For guests who want to keep the thrills going beyond Halloween, SeaWorld has launched its 2026 Fun Card, available now for $143.99. The pass includes unlimited visits through the rest of 2025 and all of 2026, with access to SeaWorld’s award-winning attractions, shows, and special events.
