Halloween is back at Tokyo Disney Resort, and this year’s celebration is packed with spooky thrills, festive food, and magical entertainment across Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. From September 17 through October 31, 2025, guests can expect returning fan favorites and brand-new seasonal experiences.

Villains Take Over the Parade

The hit parade “Villains’ Halloween ‘Into the Frenzy’” is back at Tokyo Disneyland, led by Dr. Facilier and joined by Mickey, Minnie, and friends. Expect high-energy performances, fiery effects, and a finale that transforms Main Street into a wickedly fun party.

Coco Arrives at Tokyo DisneySea

For the first time ever, Tokyo DisneySea introduces “Lazos de la Familia,” inspired by Pixar’s Coco. Located in Lost River Delta, the experience immerses guests in Día de los Muertos traditions with skeleton performers, marigold décor, mariachi music, and themed food like seafood salsa rice bowls and Pan de Muerto.

Seasonal Decor and Atmosphere

Both parks are dressed in their Halloween best:

  • Tokyo Disneyland features villain banners, Mickey-inspired pumpkin photo ops, and scarecrow-style versions of Mickey and Minnie.

  • Tokyo DisneySea brings festive Italian touches to Mediterranean Harbor and pumpkin displays to the American Waterfront.

Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare

From September 16, 2025, through January 12, 2026, Jack Skellington takes over Fantasyland with Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare, blending The Nightmare Before Christmas into this classic attraction.

Fireworks Light Up the Night

Halloween fireworks return over both parks, set to hauntingly fun music for the perfect end to a night of festivities.

Seasonal Treats and Merchandise

The food lineup is bigger than ever, with pumpkin churros, sundaes, muffins, and villain-inspired drinks. Guests can also shop exclusive villains-inspired merchandise, plush, and accessories only available this season.

A Must-Visit Celebration

From villainous parades to Coco-inspired festivities, Tokyo Disney Resort’s Halloween celebration continues to be one of the most immersive seasonal events Disney offers worldwide. With so many unique offerings, it’s the perfect time for Disney fans to head to Japan for some Halloween magic.
