TRON: Ares Adidas Sneakers and Funko Figures Coming Soon

TRON has always been more than a film franchise—it’s a full-blown aesthetic. From the neon-lit suits to the synth-heavy soundtracks, the 1982 original set the tone for digital counterculture. Decades later, that legacy continues to evolve through fashion, collectibles, and gaming, giving fans new ways to step inside the Grid.

Step Into the Grid with adidas

The adidas TRON: Lightblaze Collection (seen above) draws inspiration directly from TRON: Ares, featuring three character-driven sneaker designs. Each pair arrives in arcade-style packaging, showcasing reflective accents, Light Cycle-inspired elements, and detachable replica Identity Discs. It’s a sleek fusion of sport and sci-fi that blurs the line between our world and the Grid.

Collect the Future

TRON collectibles are more than just display pieces—they’re gateways to a bigger story. Recently, Funko revealed a new lineup featuring POP Ares, POP Kevin, and a POP Ride of Athena, plus a limited-edition figure available for pre-sale. With more drops on the horizon, collectors can look forward to expanding their shelves (and their connection to the Grid) in the months ahead.

Game On: TRON Comes to Consoles

Earlier this year, the franchise leveled up with TRON: Catalyst, an isometric action game that throws players into the crumbling Arq Grid. By harnessing a unique “Glitch” ability, you’ll unite factions and fight for survival in this story-driven adventure. TRON: Catalyst is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

TRON’s legacy has always been about pushing boundaries—on screen, in style, and now across collectibles and gaming. Whether you’re lacing up Lightblaze sneakers, adding new Funko figures to your collection, or diving into Catalyst, one thing’s certain: the Grid is very much alive.

TRON: Ares also recently showed up in the Disney theme parks with the addition of the TRON: Ares overlay on the TRON: Lightcycle RUN attraction at the Magic Kingdom. Be sure to check out our video above!
