Royal Caribbean is setting sail for a new era of family vacations with the Legend of the Seas, the latest addition to its Icon Class fleet, launching in July 2026. Designed to redefine adventure at sea, this groundbreaking ship will feature 28 dining venues, eight immersive neighborhoods, and entertainment that spans stage, air, ice, and water.

Families will find new ways to dine, play, and relax—from adrenaline-pumping waterslides and interactive playscapes to serene infinity pools and luxury suites.
“With Legend of the Seas, we are bringing to life our most legendary vacation yet,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean. “Those looking to get the most out of their vacation can have it all with Legend’s combination of adventure-packed experiences and incredible destinations in Europe and the Caribbean.”

- More than 20 bars and lounges—including Dueling Pianos, Lou’s Jazz Club, and the 1400 Lobby Bar—will ensure guests can find a scene that fits their mood every night.
Endless Ways to Play

The thrills continue across Legend’s top decks with:
- Category 6 Waterpark, the largest at sea, features six record-breaking slides.
- Crown’s Edge is a breathtaking skywalk and zip line experience 154 feet above the ocean.
- Lost Dunes Mini Golf and Adrenaline Peak, offering family fun and friendly competition.
Guests can unwind in one of seven pools—including the adults-only Hideaway Infinity Pool, Swim & Tonic swim-up bar, and the resort-style Royal Bay, the largest pool at sea.
Legendary Destinations
Legend of the Seas will debut in Europe in summer 2026 with 7-night itineraries from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia), visiting cultural gems like Provence, Naples, and Palma de Mallorca. The ship will then move to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November 2026 for Caribbean sailings, including stops at Aruba, Curaçao, and Royal Caribbean’s award-winning Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Innovation with Purpose
Legend will be Royal Caribbean’s fourth ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), advancing the company’s sustainability initiatives. With innovations such as waste heat recovery systems and shore power connectivity, the ship moves the brand closer to its goal of achieving net-zero cruising by 2035.
Legend of the Seas is now open for booking on Royal Caribbean’s website, with European voyages launching in July 2026 and Caribbean sailings following that in November.
