This holiday season, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is transforming into a stunning winter wonderland, combining the magic of Christmas with the excitement of its landmark 20th anniversary celebration.
From now through January 4, 2026, guests are invited to experience “A Disney Christmas” like never before, blending beloved traditions, spectacular new entertainment, and exclusive character moments into the festive season.
World of Frozen Gets a ‘Sven-tastic’ Upgrade
The newly opened World of Frozen is shimmering with Arendellian holiday charm, now dusted with snow and adorned with festive twinkling trees and decorations.
This year, the kingdom welcomes a brand-new, dazzling ice sculpture featuring Kristoff and his loyal reindeer pal, Sven. Guests are invited to take part in the cheerful, interactive Kristoff’s Sven-tastic Surprise, helping Kristoff add joyful, festive touches to the magnificent sculpture.
Spectacular New Shows and Dazzling Nighttime Traditions
The 20th anniversary adds extra sparkle to the resort’s entertainment lineup:
- A Holiday Wish-Come-True Tree Lighting: Each evening on Main Street, U.S.A., the nightly ceremony dazzles with “snowfall,” glowing projections, and a breathtaking drone display inspired by Frozen and the resort’s milestone year.
- Disney Christmas Live in Concert!: Starting November 22 and running across three festive weekends, the Castle of Magical Dreams becomes the stage for this musical celebration. It features Santa Goofy, Disney friends, and performances by popular Cantopop stars Jay Fung, YT Chau, and Alfred Hui, along with the Hong Kong Children’s Choir.
- New Year’s Eve Countdown: On December 31, the park will host a spectacular party, inviting guests to dance into the new year with Disney friends and gather for the exclusive “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky” show and countdown.
Zootopia Takes Over for the Holidays
In a special tie-in to the upcoming Zootopia 2, the beloved duo Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde arrive in brand-new festive outfits starting November 27.
The celebration includes a fun activation where guests can help the pair track down a missing tourist named Gary De’Snake, with posters and clues found throughout Adventureland. Fans can then head to the new pop-up donut shop at Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., for a fun and interactive experience while shopping for exclusive donut-themed merchandise and sweet treats like Zootopia Donuts, Judy’s Waffle, and the delicious Bunnyburrow Blueberry Pie.
Festive Bites and Character Hugs
Across the park, guests can meet beloved characters in all-new festive attire, including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie in Toy Story Land, and Duffy and Friends in their winter best. Look out for special appearances by Santa Mickey, Santa Goofy, Santa Stitch, and Angel.
Holiday flavors are front and center at Ye Olde Christmas Market, where festive delights like gingerbread cookies await. Dining highlights include:
- New Talking Mickey Celebration Popcorn Bucket
- A cozy Christmas set dinner at Main Street Corner Cafe, Hosted by Coca-Cola
- Nordic-inspired holiday fare at the Golden Crocus Inn in World of Frozen
For a complete escape, the resort hotels are offering packages like the Christmas Starlight Picnic Package and in-room party packs themed to Winnie the Pooh or Zootopia.
