Disneyland Resort has revealed the full lineup of Disneyland After Dark events for 2026, including an all new theme created for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. Alongside returning favorites like Sweethearts’ Nite, guests can look forward to two special evenings dedicated to 70 Years of Favorites, a retro-inspired tribute to the past seven decades of Disneyland history.
The updates were shared on the Disney Parks Blog, giving fans an overview of what to expect as the after hours series returns from January through June 2026.
New Theme: 70 Years of Favorites
For the first time, Disneyland After Dark will host 70 Years of Favorites, a nostalgic celebration honoring iconic entertainment, beloved characters and classic moments from across the park’s history.
Guests can step back in time and enjoy:
• Dancing zones themed to different decades
• Photo backdrops inspired by retired attractions and shows
• Rare character encounters tied to fan favorite eras
• Nostalgic food and beverage offerings created just for the event
The anniversary theme will run for two nights and is designed as a love letter to the generations of Disneyland fans who helped shape the park’s legacy.
Sweethearts’ Nite Returns With New Entertainment
Sweethearts’ Nite returns in January and February with new entertainment offerings including:
• Celebrate Love Cavalcade along Main Street USA
• Once Upon a Dream: A Musical Journey Through the Disney Songbook, a romantic new stage show featuring live vocalists and Disney royalty
As always, the night will offer themed sweets, specialty menu items and new merchandise created just for the occasion.
More Themes Coming Soon
Additional details for Disney Channel Nite, Star Wars Nite, and Pride Nite will be announced soon. All three will return as part of the 2026 lineup and will include special entertainment, character encounters and themed offerings.
What Is Disneyland After Dark
Disneyland After Dark events are separately ticketed evenings that grant guests after hours access to Disneyland park with lower wait times for select attractions, exclusive entertainment, limited edition merchandise and themed food offerings. Each event also includes unique character meet and greets not typically available during daytime park hours.
Events take place on select nights from January through June 2026.
