Disneyland Resort is already looking ahead to a huge year, dropping its full 2026 calendar packed with new entertainment, returning favorites, after-hours events, festivals, and a few surprises—including the debut of Bluey at Disneyland Park. Alongside all the upcoming experiences, Disney also released several limited-time ticket and hotel deals to help guests plan their next visit.

Here are the biggest updates coming to Disneyland Resort in 2026.

Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration Continues Through Summer 2026

The resort’s milestone 70th Celebration rolls on through August 9, 2026, with anniversary entertainment returning in January. Fans can expect shows and nighttime spectaculars that carried the celebration through Halloween and the Holidays:

• Wondrous Journeys
• Paint the Night parade

These limited-time offerings end after August 9, so 2026 will be the final chance to catch them.

Bluey Makes Her Disneyland Debut March 22, 2026

Beginning March 22, Fantasyland Theatre transforms into “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!,” an interactive, family-friendly production celebrating the hit Disney+ series. Bluey and Bingo will appear live on stage throughout the day, joining actors and musicians to bring iconic games and moments to life—from Keepy Uppy to adventures in a full-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden.

Guests will also find themed treats at Troubadour Tavern and opportunities to play alongside characters like the Grannies, Chattermax, and Unicorse.

2026 Festivals and Seasonal Celebrations

Disneyland Resort’s festival lineup returns with familiar favorites and a few new twists:

  • Lunar New Year (Jan. 23–Feb. 22): Includes appearances by Horace Horsecollar and new character outfits inspired by Vietnamese and Chinese attire.
  • Celebrate Gospel (Feb. 20–21, Feb. 27–28): Moves to Downtown Disney District, with headliners Hezekiah Walker and Yolanda Adams.
  • Anaheim Ducks Day (Feb. 22): Select players, Wild Wing, and hockey-themed entertainment return for one day.
  • Food & Wine Festival (Mar. 6–Apr. 27): Food booths, seminars, demos, and entertainment celebrate California flavors.
  • Disney On the Yard – Yardfest (Jun. 19): A salute to HBCU culture with drum majors and Drum Major Mickey Mouse.
  • D23 Day at Disneyland (Aug. 13): A one-day celebration ahead of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
  • Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party (Aug. 13–16): One day in California Adventure, then three additional days in Downtown Disney.
  • Halloween Time (Aug. 21–Oct. 31): Spooky décor, seasonal overlays, and family-friendly fun.
  • Plaza de la Familia (Aug. 21–Nov. 2): Inspired by Pixar’s Coco.
  • Holidays at Disneyland Resort (Nov. 18): Holiday décor, entertainment, Festival of Holidays, and seasonal food return.

Disneyland After Dark Returns with Five Themes

After-hours fans will have plenty to choose from, with five Disneyland After Dark themes in 2026:

  • Sweethearts’ Nite (Jan. 22–Feb. 17)
  • New: 70 Years of Favorites (Mar. 3 & 5)
  • Disney Channel Nite (Apr. 12, 14, 16)
  • Star Wars Nite (Apr. 28, 30; May 4, 6)
  • Pride Nite (Jun. 16 & 18)

Each event includes themed entertainment, limited-time food, shorter attraction waits, and unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads.

Oogie Boogie Bash Expands to 33 Nights in 2026

Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure will run more nights than ever before, with 33 event dates from mid-August through Halloween night. The full list spans August 18 through October 31, offering one of the longest special-event calendars in the resort’s history.

New Attractions and Experiences Coming in 2026

Disneyland is also rolling out new and updated experiences across both parks:

  • New Mission for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (May 22): A Mandalorian-themed storyline starring Mando and Grogu arrives the same weekend the new Star Wars film releases.
  • Hyperspace Mountain Returns (Apr. 28): The popular overlay comes back for a limited time.
  • Soarin’ Across America (Jul. 2): A refreshed version of Soarin’ celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with an all-new tour across the U.S.
  • Downtown Disney Additions: Earl of Sandwich, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, and lululemon are all slated to open in 2026.
