Royal Caribbean Unveils Massive 2027–28 Caribbean Lineup, Featuring Legend of the Seas, an Amplified Allure, and New Island Destinations

Royal Caribbean is gearing up for some major island-hopping in 2027–28, announcing a huge lineup of new seasonal sailings across 13 ships, departing from Florida, New Orleans, San Juan, Cartagena, and Panama. The updated deployment includes everything from quick weekend escapes to longer Southern Caribbean adventures, plus visits to new destinations like Port Samaná and upcoming Royal Beach Club locations. Crown & Anchor Society members can book now before reservations open to everyone on Dec. 10.

More Ways to Explore the Caribbean Across 13 Ships

Itineraries range from 3 to 9 nights across the Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean, including stops at:

• Perfect Day at CocoCay
• Royal Beach Club Paradise Island (opening Dec. 2025)
• Royal Beach Club Cozumel (opening 2026)
• New Port Samaná in the Dominican Republic
• Perfect Day Mexico (opening late 2027; exact date coming in 2026)

Year-Round & Seasonal Sailings

Allure of the Seas – Fort Lauderdale & Miami

Beginning May 2027, Allure returns to Fort Lauderdale with 6- and 8-night Caribbean itineraries including Curacao, Jamaica, and Perfect Day at CocoCay. Starting November 2027, the ship moves to Miami for 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings, plus newly updated onboard venues like the Pesky Parrot tiki bar and a redesigned pool deck.

Freedom of the Seas – Miami

Sailing year-round from Miami on 4-, 5-, 7-, and 9-night itineraries, Freedom will visit Curacao, Aruba, CocoCay, Nassau, and more.

Adventure of the Seas – Port Canaveral

Adventure spends both summer and winter 2027 in Port Canaveral with 4-, 5-, and 9-night cruises, including Perfect Day at CocoCay and Royal Beach Clubs in Nassau and Cozumel.

Enchantment of the Seas – Tampa

Sailing begins April 2027 with 5- and 7-night Western Caribbean itineraries. In November 2027, Enchantment shifts to shorter 4- and 5-night getaways to Cozumel and Costa Maya.

Grandeur of the Seas – San Juan, Colon, Cartagena

Summer 2027 brings 7-night Southern Caribbean sailings from San Juan to St. Lucia, Tortola, St. Maarten, and more. In winter 2027, Grandeur repositions to Colon and Cartagena for 7-night ABC island itineraries.

Winter 2027: Big Ships, Big New Adventures

Legend of the Seas – Fort Lauderdale

Fresh off its European debut, the new Icon-class Legend of the Seas arrives in Fort Lauderdale in November 2027. Sailings include 6- and 8-night routes to CocoCay, Cozumel’s new Royal Beach Club, Willemstad, Cabo Rojo (DR), and more. Onboard highlights include:

• 28 dining venues (most at sea)
• Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” stage production
• The largest waterpark at sea

Oasis of the Seas – Fort Lauderdale

Returning from Cape Liberty, Oasis sails 3- and 4-night getaways to CocoCay and Nassau starting November 2027. Onboard favorites include The Lime & Coconut, Music Hall, AquaTheater shows, and the Perfect Storm waterslides.

Explorer of the Seas – Fort Lauderdale

Explorer offers 6- to 8-night itineraries across the Eastern and Western Caribbean, including CocoCay, Falmouth, and Puerto Plata.

Independence of the Seas – Miami

From November 2027 to spring 2028, Independence sails 4- to 8-night Caribbean cruises to St. Thomas, Grand Cayman, Nassau, and Cozumel.

Brilliance of the Seas – Tampa

Launching 7-night Caribbean sailings in November 2027, Brilliance visits Roatan, Belize City, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.

Mariner of the Seas – New Orleans

Returning from Europe, Mariner will homeport in New Orleans for 6- to 9-night Western Caribbean itineraries to Belize, Roatan, and Cozumel.

Rhapsody of the Seas – San Juan

Starting November 2027, Rhapsody sails 6- to 8-night Southern Caribbean routes with stops in Antigua, St. Kitts, St. Croix, Castries, and more.

Summer 2027: Short Getaways on Jewel of the Seas

From April to November 2027, Jewel of the Seas runs 3- and 4-night weekend escapes from Fort Lauderdale to Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay, with access to Royal Beach Club Paradise Island when it opens.
