Six Flags Qiddiya City officially celebrated its grand opening on December 31, welcoming guests from across Saudi Arabia and around the world. As Saudi Arabia’s first-of-its-kind theme park and entertainment destination, the opening marks a major milestone for Six Flags Entertainment as its first theme park designed and built outside of North America. The groundbreaking park features six immersive themed lands that blend innovative technology with high-energy entertainment.
Located just 40 minutes from Riyadh in the heart of the Tuwaiq Mountains, Qiddiya City is the world’s first global destination built entirely around the “Power of Play.” Once fully completed, the city will unite world-class entertainment, sports, and cultural experiences in a bold, never-before-seen way.

As Qiddiya City’s inaugural entertainment development, Six Flags Qiddiya City delivers next-level thrills for families, friends, and adrenaline-seekers alike. The park is home to 28 rides and attractions, including several record-breaking experiences such as Falcon’s Flight, the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster; Iron Rattler, the world’s tallest tilt coaster; and Spitfire, the world’s tallest inverting coaster.
“Six Flags is proud to announce the opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a landmark project that will redefine entertainment in the region,” said John Reilly, President and CEO of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. “This world-class destination combines cutting-edge, record-breaking attractions, immersive experiences for all ages, and the signature thrills that have made Six Flags a global leader.
