If you’ve been keeping a close eye on the construction cranes over at Universal Studios Florida, you know something massive is brewing. Today, Universal Orlando Resort finally threw some fuel on the fire, dropping a mysterious teaser on social media that has every theme park fan hitting the “rev” button.

Universal posted a short, high-octane clip featuring a sleek speedometer. As the engine revs, the needle climbs, and the odometer settles on a very specific set of numbers: 01.20.26.
Reading Between the Lines: Is “The Family” Arriving?
While the post didn’t explicitly name a new attraction, the clues are screaming one thing: Fast & Furious. The sound of the revving engine and the speedometer aesthetic align perfectly with the long-standing rumors of a ‘Fast & Furious’ themed attraction coming to the park.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit closed for good in August 2025, which is where this new attraction is rumored to be located, although nothing has been officially announced by Universal.
We will bring you the official announcement when it happens on January 20th! Make sure you’re following ThrillGeek across all of our social media platforms for the latest news and updates from Universal Orlando Resort!
