Disney Cruise Line (DCL) just announced a major leadership milestone: Tracy Wilson has officially been named the new Senior Vice President & General Manager of Disney Cruise Line.
Wilson steps into this role following the retirement of Sharon Siskie, a Disney veteran who led the cruise line through an incredible period of transformation, including the launch of the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. As Wilson takes over, she inherits a fleet that is rapidly expanding and a brand that continues to set the gold standard for family travel.

If you haven’t heard Tracy’s name yet, her work has likely already touched your Disney vacations. With over 30 years of experience at The Walt Disney Company, she is a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of what makes the “Disney Difference.”
Before this promotion, Wilson served as the SVP of Finance for Disney Signature Experiences. In that role, she was a quiet powerhouse behind the scenes, leading the strategic planning and negotiations that paved the way for the construction of five new Disney ships.
Her resume is a “greatest hits” of Disney leadership:
• Park Operations: Experience across Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Paris.
• Studio Success: Key roles in Global Theatrical Marketing, where she helped navigate the massive integrations of Lucasfilm and Marvel.
• Consumer Products: Strategic leadership in the Disney Consumer Products division.
This isn’t just a change in office nameplates; it’s a signal of Disney’s massive commitment to its cruise business. Joe Schott, President of Disney Signature Experiences, noted that Wilson’s “visionary approach” and “genuine care for cast and crew” make her the perfect fit as the fleet grows toward a projected 13 ships by 2031.
Under Wilson’s leadership, we can expect a continued focus on:
1. Global Expansion: With the Disney Adventure preparing to sail from Singapore and more ships on the horizon, her international experience will be vital.
2. Immersive Storytelling: Her background with Marvel and Lucasfilm suggests we might see even more innovative ways to bring these “power brands” to life at sea.
3. Operational Excellence: Her history in finance and operations ensures that as the fleet grows, the quality of service we love won’t skip a beat.
As Sharon Siskie sails off into a well-deserved retirement, Tracy Wilson is ready to navigate the next era of Disney magic. Whether you’re a Platinum Castaway Club member or planning your very first voyage, the future of Disney Cruise Line looks brighter—and bigger—than ever.
