Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Rush of Fear/Frequent Fear Pass Tickets

Universal Orlando Resort has officially confirmed a major change for the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) season: Frequent Fear Passes with Express will not be available for the event.

For many years, this popular add-on allowed guests who purchased multi-night tickets—such as the Rush of Fear, Frequent Fear, Frequent Fear Plus, and Ultimate Frequent Fear passes—to bundle Express access, providing one-time priority entry to haunted houses and participating attractions on every eligible event night. That option will no longer be available for the 2026 event.

Universal Orlando has officially released multi-night tickets for Halloween Horror Nights 35. As a reminder, Universal has discontinued multi-night passes bundled with Express Passes. If you want Express access with a multi-night ticket, you will now need to purchase a separate Express Pass for each night you attend.

The current multi-night lineup includes:

  • Rush of Fear ($229.99+tax): Access to the first 18 event nights.
  • Frequent Fear ($274.99+tax): Access to 31 select nights (mostly Sundays through Thursdays, plus opening weekend).
  • Frequent Fear Plus ($324.99+tax): Access to 41 select nights (excluding most Saturdays).
  • Ultimate Frequent Fear ($449.99+tax): Access to all 49 event nights, plus free self-parking after 5:00 PM.

Stay & Scream / Early Arrival

One of the biggest questions asked is how to get ahead of the crowds for Halloween Horror Nights 2026 and take advantage of early entry. Given the event’s popularity, especially with the big-name properties that come,  sometimes it can feel like there are not too many slow nights anymore. Sure, you can buy Express Passes or a private RIP Tour, but Stay and Scream will be your best way to see and do more at the event. Here is how Stay & Scream is going to work at Halloween Horror Nights 2026:

If you are planning your strategy for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, take note of major updates to the Stay & Scream early-entry program. Universal has heavily revamped how guests can access haunted houses before the event officially kicks off.

What’s Changing?

Universal has expanded early-access windows, giving prepared guests a massive head start on knocking out the 10 haunted houses.

The Early Houses: At least three select haunted houses will begin opening as early as 2:00 PM for qualifying guests.
The Benefit: This provides up to 4.5 hours of early touring time before the general event starts, allowing visitors to tackle roughly a third of the event’s houses with significantly lower wait times.

Early Haunted House Timeline

  • 2 pm: Three haunted houses open
    • Stranger Things 5
    • Hellraiser
    • Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control
  • 4 pm: Select haunted house queues open
  • 5:15 pm: Select additional haunted houses begin opening
  • 6:30 pm: Halloween Horror Nights officially begins, all houses open

Depending on your ticket type, here is how you can utilize the early-entry program:

For Daytime Park Guests & Annual Passholders:

If you already have valid daytime admission to Universal Studios Florida (along with your separate ticket for that night’s Halloween Horror Nights event), you can stay in the park and participate in the early-entry program.

For Non-Daytime Guests (Scream Early Ticket):

If you aren’t visiting the parks during the day, you can purchase a separately sold Scream Early ticket.
This ticket grants access to Universal Studios Florida starting at 2:00 PM, entry to the early-access haunted houses, and time to enjoy daytime rides.

Note: The Scream Early ticket does not include admission to Halloween Horror Nights itself; you must still purchase a separate event ticket for that night and be inside the park by 5:00 PM.

Leveraging the 2:00 PM or standard Stay & Scream access is one of the best ways to bypass the long evening queues without needing to splurge on an Express Pass. If you want to conquer as many houses as possible in a single night, arriving early during daylight hours is now more crucial than ever to your itinerary.

H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!

Universal Orlando has announced the terrifying return of the iconic horror host H.R. Bloodengutz for Halloween Horror Nights 2026. This year, the demented maître d’ macabre takes center stage in an all-new haunted house experience titled H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!. Guests will be transported directly into the confines of the WKNB Television Studio for a night of curated holiday horrors, complete with the character’s signature dark humor and buckets of gore.

First introduced at HHN 21, the character of H.R. Bloodengutz—the sinister persona of failed taxidermist-turned-host Larry Kurtzberg—has long been a fan-favorite legend of the event. After his infamous, violent final broadcast in 2011, his return marks a major milestone for the 2026 season. Sinners

Sinners is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026
Sinners is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026

Sinners is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026Since debuting in 2025, Sinners became the highest-grossing original horror film, garnering a record-breaking 16 Academy Award nominations and four Oscar® wins. Written, directed, and produced by Ryan Coogler, alongside fellow Proximity Media producers Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian, the film takes place in the 1930s Mississippi Delta, where twin brothers Smoke and Stack return to their hometown to open a juke joint for their community. Celebration turns to panic as a troupe of unrelenting vampires crashes the opening night, threatening to violently curse the guests in a brutal battle for survival.

“It’s been incredible to see audiences connect with Sinners in such a powerful way,” said Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian, producers of Sinners and founders of Proximity Media, in a joint statement. “Now, partnering with Halloween Horror Nights gives fans the chance to step even deeper into the world of the film — to feel the music, the atmosphere, and the tension all around them. Watching it come to life on this scale has been really special for all of us.”

The terrifying Halloween Horror Nights house will transport guests back in time to the popular Club Juke, where they will quickly realize that nothing is as it seems when nefarious, red-eyed vampires Remmick, Bert, and Joan appear with their insatiable hunger. As they attempt to evade the vampires at every turn, fans will encounter some of their favorite characters lifted straight from the film, including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline, and Cornbread. Caught in a deadly struggle between twins Smoke and Stack and the bloodthirsty vampires, guests must survive the night – because the terror will only relent once the sun rises.

“At Halloween Horror Nights, we push the boundaries of what a live horror experience can be,” said John Murdy, Executive Producer, Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Studios Hollywood. “Just as Ryan Coogler’s Academy Award-winning film, Sinners re-invented the vampire movie, we are re-inventing the haunted house and creating new ways to scare our guests that we’ve never attempted and are thrilled to bring this amazing story to life in a truly terrifying and fully immersive way.”

“The moment Sinners premiered, we knew it was an undeniable fit for Halloween Horror Nights, and it’s an honor to bring this story to life,” said Mike Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando Resort. “It’s rare for a film to fully satisfy hardcore horror fans while also inviting new audiences into the genre—and that’s exactly what Sinners does. Its world, characters and intensity will translate into a relentless haunted house. We can’t wait for our fans to step inside and experience the horror firsthand in a way that only Halloween Horror Nights can deliver.”

Stranger Things 5

Stranger Things is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026
Stranger Things is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026

The Upside Down returns to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights as the fifth and final season of the global phenomenon, Netflix’s Stranger Things, comes to life in all-new haunted houses. The premier Halloween event commences on Friday, August 28, at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Developed in partnership with Netflix, this year’s Stranger Things haunted house will showcase the most gripping moments from the final season in an authentic, visceral experience that places guests at the center of the ultimate battle to save Hawkins. Fans will confront the terror they’ve seen on screen as they navigate iconic locations and encounter favorite characters—all while evading a host of horrifying supernatural creatures…including Vecna himself.

The harrowing adventure will immediately transport guests to the town of Hawkins, as the barrier between reality and the supernatural is collapsing to unleash an ominous darkness. As visitors make their way through familiar scenes, including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, the MAC-Z military base, as well as the haunting realms of the Upside Down and the Abyss, they’ll be hunted at every turn by Demogorgons and other sinister creatures. With Vecna on their heels, the terror intensifies, pulling guests into an all-or-nothing battle for survival.

Hellraiser

Hellraiser is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026
Hellraiser is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026

Since its debut in 1987, Hellraiser has become one of horror’s most influential franchises, introducing audiences to the chilling mythology of the Lament Configuration puzzle box – which, when solved, opens a portal to another dimension inhabited by the ritualistically torturous beings, the Cenobites, and their leader, the iconic Pinhead. Known for blending psychological horror with graphic imagery and philosophical themes of pain and desire, Hellraiser helped redefine supernatural horror and cemented its place as a cult classic that continues to inspire filmmakers and haunt audiences worldwide.

Now, for the first time at Halloween Horror Nights, guests will experience this nightmare personally in haunted houses on both coasts that draw from the first three films: Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth. Additionally, legendary Pinhead actor Doug Bradley will reprise his character and lend his voice to both haunted houses in Hollywood and Orlando.

The terrifying experience begins as guests enter the iconic Lament Configuration puzzle box, unwittingly summoning the Cenobites and opening a gateway to a diabolical dimension where unspeakable horrors await. From the shadowy attic in Frank Cotton’s family home where he was first cast to Hell, to the disturbing Channard Institute where the legendary box lures guests with its promise of forbidden pleasures, fans will encounter haunting moments and settings from the Hellraiser franchise at every turn. Their unnerving journey ultimately lands them in The Labyrinth, where Pinhead and the Cenobites lie in wait for new souls to torment for eternity.

Evil Dead Burn

Evil Dead Burn, New Line Cinema’s latest film in the iconic Evil Dead franchise, takes shape as the newest Halloween Horror Nights haunted house, beginning August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

First introduced in 1981, Evil Dead has evolved from an independent cult classic to one of today’s most terrifying horror properties. Blending extreme gore with dark humor, the franchise consistently centers on the Book of the Dead, an ancient text that unleashes supernatural parasitic demons who possess and twist their victims into Deadites.

Inspired by the franchise’s latest installment, Evil Dead Burn, the haunted houses will take guests on a terrifying firsthand journey through the film’s most frightening moments that begin at the Price family’s secluded vacation home in the woods. The nightmare grows more and more fierce as guests venture through the haunted house, encountering ferocious Deadites around every turn before succumbing to the evil forces themselves.

Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness

Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights pays tribute to pioneer heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne in the all-original haunted house, “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,” inspired by his prolific solo career.

Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights pays tribute to pioneer heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne in the all-original haunted houses, “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,” inspired by his prolific solo career. Guests can anticipate a wild ride as they climb aboard the Crazy Train for a terrifying trip through his disturbing world of rock and roll, beginning Friday, August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Developed as a living horror movie through the lens of Halloween Horror Nights, this non-traditional memorial to Ozzy Osbourne will span 45 years, transporting guests on a twisted journey through the artist’s outrageous and eccentric solo career in unique experiences across both coasts.

Music from Ozzy Osbourne’s solo albums will guide guests through “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,” including The Blizzard of Ozz (1980), Diary of a Madman (1981), Bark at the Moon (1983), No More Tears (1991), Scream (2010) and Ordinary Man (2020).

“Ozzy never stopped pushing boundaries, and he loved anything that gave fans a new way to experience his music and the worlds he created,” Sharon and Jack Osbourne jointly stated. “Halloween Horror Nights has done an incredible job bringing that spirit to life. Walking through these haunted houses, you’ll recognize so many moments inspired by his music and imagination. It’s a wonderful tribute to Ozzy, and we hope fans have as much fun experiencing it as he would have had seeing it come together.”

At Universal Studios Hollywood, the haunted house transports fans to where it all began, in Birmingham, England, home to John Michael “Ozzy” Osbourne. Starting with “Crazy Train,” Ozzy Osbourne’s most famous song, guests will travel through time from his early childhood to the Osbourne Asylum, inspired by his iconic album Diary of a Madman. As they weave through the decades, the unique iterations of Ozzy’s persona will come to life, from Madman Ozzy and Werewolf Ozzy to the Prince of Darkness, the moniker he earned in the 1970s.

“Ozzy Osbourne didn’t just help define heavy metal—he created a cultural phenomenon that has influenced generations of music, art and horror,” said John Murdy, Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. “We previously had the privilege of collaborating with Ozzy, and this new haunted house is an opportunity to honor his extraordinary solo career. Inspired by all 13 of his albums, guests will journey through the dark, surreal worlds that fueled his music and cemented his legacy as the one and only Prince of Darkness.”

At Universal Orlando, Halloween Horror Nights guests will venture through ancient ruins and foreboding dungeons before boarding the “Crazy Train” for a twisted ride into a realm inspired by the covers of his fan-favorite albums, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, The Ultimate Sin and Black Rain. Ruled by the Prince of Darkness, this fantastical world draws from the heavier sound and sinister imagery that defined the later years of Ozzy’s career, transforming that creative evolution into a horrific journey through his unmistakably twisted imagination.

“We are honored to collaborate with the Osbourne family to create a unique haunted house that celebrates the legacy of Ozzy Osbourne,” said Mike Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando Resort. “It was important for us to create an authentic experience that brings Ozzy’s creativity and personality to life in an eerily immersive new way. Fans will discover so many meaningful details, including a few Easter Eggs, as they navigate memorable dark and twisted moments inspired by his iconic musical career.”
