Today, it was unveiled that EPCOT will receive a new merchandise location, called Creations Shop. The shop features a bold design with an open, bright environment with huge glass walls. EPCOT is using color, materials, and light that connect back to this park’s past while looking to the future.
Featured in the concept art, there is a large mural of Mickey Mouse along with one of the shop’s walls, as well as a bunch of original pieces.
“Our goal is for Creations Shop to be more than a place to pick up a memento of your time at EPCOT – we want your every moment with us to be an experience worthy of the park’s vision and tradition. The products you’ll find here will extend Disney storytelling and allow you to bring that experience home with you, all while encouraging you to explore your own expressiveness and creativity.”
This will be located next to a brand new Club Cool Hosted by Coca-Cola, which will also open this summer.
Opening Creations Shop and Club Cool will be the first steps of reimagining what will soon be a new neighborhood at the entrance and center of the park, called World Celebration.
