Halloween Time Fun coming to Disneyland Resort from Sept. 3-Oct. 31, 2021

From Sep. 3  through Oct. 31, 2021, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will host an array of family-friendly spooky fun! From ride overlays to entertainment, and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy this season!

Disneyland Park

Starting on Main Street, U.S.A., make sure you check out The Main Street Pumpkin Festival, hosting different types of pumpkins displayed in storefronts, as well as the huge Mickey Jack’O’Lantern. There will also be pumpkin statues representing Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Critter Country, and Frontierland surrounding the Partners Statue in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Haunted Mansion Holiday will be returning, inspired by “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.”  Don’t forget to look out for the 20th appearance of the famous gingerbread house on the ballroom table!

Every night from Sept. 3 – Oct. 31, guests can enjoy “Halloween Screams”, a projection and special effects show. On weekend nights, “Halloween Screams” also will take to the skies and add fireworks.

Disney California Adventure Park

Oogie Boogie will haunt the entrance to Disney California Adventure, greeting guests for the season. Venture over to Cars Land as Radiator Springs becomes Radiator Screams. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will feature spooky songs to become Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, and Luigi’s Rolickin’ Roadsters will transform into Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween.

Guardians of the Galaxy: After Dark will be back as well, which is the scary, Halloween-only version of the attraction.

The façade of Carthay Circle Restaurant will come alive with bats, energy pulses from within, and projections and partake in a photo op with a 10-foot-tall statue of the Headless Horseman holding his jack-o-lantern.

Plaza de la Familia

Plaza de la Familia in Paradise Gardens will come alive from Sept. 3-Nov. 2, 2021, celebrating Dia de Los Muertos, with entertainment, food, crafts, and interactive experiences. “A Musical Celebration of Coco,” will be making a return, as well as Mariachi music at Paradise Gardens Bandstand. Last but not least, don’t miss The World of Coco, an evocative art exhibit;  with a photo opportunity with a hand-animated figure of Miguel, and the Arbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) photo location and memory wall.

Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party

On select nights from Sept. 9, through October 31,  Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party will be hosted at Disneyland Resort as an after-hours party. The event promises special entertainment, characters, food and beverage, and more. Kids and guests of all ages may enjoy dressing up in Halloween costumes during the event!

  • Entry to Disney California Adventure Park before the party. The party begins at 6 p.m. PT and guests have the opportunity to play in Disney California Adventure three hours before the party starts.
  • Treat trails will be throughout Disney California Adventure, where guests of all ages can indulge in Mars Wrigley confectionery products.
  • “Frightfully Fun Parade” – Starting with the Headless Horseman, Disney character favorites follow for an energetic, fun party.
  • Villains Grove will be an experience with a series of scenes, bringing you into the worlds of various Disney Villains.
  • Unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the night are included with admission to Oogie Boogie Bash

Tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash will go on sale beginning Tuesday, July 13, 2021 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT) at Disneyland.com/OogieBoogieBash.
