After stowing loose articles in a free locker before each raptor run on Jurassic World VelociCoaster, guests make their way through metal detectors before going to the loading platform. In this metal detector room, the cold concrete walls are livened up with bright and exciting posters of Jurassic World’s other attractions. Some of these advertise actual attractions guests can experience in Universal’s Islands Of Adventure such as Jurassic World VelociCoaster, Jurassic Park River Adventure, and Pteranodon Flyers. The others advertise animal offerings in the park with “coming soon” labels to the Indominus Rex and Camp Cretaceous since in cannon, those attractions have not yet opened.
Ever since VelociCoaster previewed to the public, guests have been clamoring for replica prints of these posters for purchase. Universal would be literally printing money and on Wednesday, July 14th, they did. These posters became available for the public at the Jurassic World Tribute Store. As of this time, only 6 of the 8 designs are available for purchase:
- Jurassic World: VelociCoaster
- T-Rex Kingdom
- Jurassic Park: River Adventure
- Mosasaurus
- Pteranodon Flyers
- Gyrosphere
Each poster comes in a protective sleeve with a wall hanger already attached, retailing for $17.00. Team Member and annual pass holder discounts may be applied.
