With the COVID-19 closure, we, unfortunately, lost some of the entertainment offerings that the Walt Disney World Resort is famous for when the parks reopened. It has slowly but surely been working itself back into the daily operating system by reintroducing things such as Happily Ever After and the Festival of the Lion King. Today, I have great news to share that select offerings will be coming back! Read more below to see the exact dates, shows, and locations, and don’t miss a single one!
Starting August 1, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will bring back “Wonderful World of Animation.” This show uses projection mapping technology to transform the Chinese Theater! Please be aware this is the only nighttime show at this time.
On August 15, at the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard, “Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage” will be coming back, a classic favorite of the park telling the tale that’s old as time.
Head over to the Magic Kingdom, because Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is back starting August 8! Laugh with all your favorite Monsters and generate enough energy for Monstropolis!
Beginning August 21, your little ones can enjoy Turtle Talk with Crush at EPCOT, where they’ll get to meet Crush and other Finding Nemo friends and ask Crush whatever they’d like!
As always, be sure to follow ThrillGeek on Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates from the Walt Disney World Resort!
Emily Ann has always loved the theme parks, and is now so happy she gets to create content around them for ThrillGeek! She considers herself a huge theme park foodie, as well as finding unique items across the parks. Would die for HHN.
