Disneyland Resort to celebrate the holiday season from Nov. 12, 2021-Jan. 9, 2022

The Disneyland Resort has big holiday plans this year, which will run from Nov. 12, 2021, through Jan. 9, 2022!

At Disneyland Park

When you enter Disneyland, you will be greeted by a 60-foot-tall Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A., decorated with 1,800 ornaments.. At the entrance to Fantasyland, Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle will definitely be a must if you’re into selfies with an iconic part of Disneyland! The “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade will go on a few times a day, and we can’t wait to see it!

End your day with a magical “snowfall” along with projections on Main Street U.S.A., and the façade of “it’s a small world” during the “Believe in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular. The “kiss goodnight” moment will feature several characters, dressed in their pajamas and waving goodbye from the balcony of the Disneyland Railroad Train Station in Town Square.

And don’t forget the seasonal overlays at both it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday.

 

At Disney California Adventure Park

Hop on over to DCA to partake in the Disney Festival of Holidays including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day. This includes live entertainment, shopping, and eight food marketplaces.

The celebration continues with “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” as Disney characters host a street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse!

In Paradise Gardens, you can enjoy themed food and beverages plus live music and performers starting Nov. 12. Later on, you can meet Mirabel from the Walt Disney Animation Studios upcoming film “Encanto.” At Pacific Wharf, you will find holiday-themed menus with special food and drink. as well as craft stations and cookie decorating kits for the kids.

Over in Cars Land, two attractions will have a holiday overhaul, Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

Guests can meet Santa Claus at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Mickey Mouse and friends will celebrate the season with a party featuring the Holiday Toy Drummers several times daily.
