Universal Orlando to celebrate the holiday season from November 13 through January 2

Universal Orlando Resort’s holiday season is back and bigger than ever with a run of 51 days and nights beginning November 13 through January 2. Whether it’s in  The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas, or Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, there’s something for everyone in the family; and it’s all included with theme park admission!

The streets of Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, and London will become adorned with themed decorations, garlands, and lights. Guests can sip on hot Butterbeer, listen to Christmas carols from the Frog Choir, and see a special seasonal show from Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees.

At Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” is back and is a transformation of Hogwarts castle with Christmas moments inspired by Harry Potter films.

The “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” is making its triumphant return as a live retelling of Dr. Seuss’s holiday classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” starring The Grinch with special appearances by the Whos from Who-ville.

Seuss Landing will also be transformed with oversized candy canes, Christmas trees, wreaths, and beautiful tinsel throughout the land. Make sure to see if some residents Whos spreading Who-liday joy are out and about!

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s is returning, with more than 30 larger-than-life balloons at Universal Studios Florida. You’ll see familiar characters such as the Minions from Illumination’s Despicable Me, Shrek, and Madagascar. Don’t miss the finale led by Santa Claus as he passes by and lights the 80-foot Christmas Tree in New York.

New food and beverage options and themed merchandise will also be available, as well as activities at Universal Orlando’s hotels, like festive meals, strolling carolers, holiday crafts, and more.
