Horror Nights History: Lights, Camera, Hacktion: Eddie’s Revenge

Halloween Horror Nights 30 has been a celebration of nostalgia; an event both newcomers and longtime fans can enjoy. Over the many years, it’s hard to keep track of all the characters, scare zones, and houses, in the event’s history. This year, one particular scare zone has helped jogged our memory: Lights, Camera Hacktion: Eddie’s Revenge. Eddie Schmidt, the brother of the legendary Jack The Clown is heading the bill of this Hollywood film set gone terribly, terribly wrong. Given his own stage, Eddie will interact with guests, and even Jack throughout the night.

Eddie isn’t the only one wielding a chainsaw in the zone! the Klownz from the roaming Chainsaw Horde in 2015 & 2017 make a comeback!

While dodging chainsaw blades, you might as well watch your neck too! Thirsty Vamps from Vamp ’55 & ’85 are lurking around the corner.

Not every maniac here looks to maim or harm, the Treaks and Foons just want you to join in their silliness. It’s been a while since we’ve seen these playful neon oddities; their debut was in HHN: Islands Of Fear in 2002.

If child-like pranks aren’t your fancy, maybe you’ll be bewitched by The Coven; casting spells and sinister looks your way. Above them all towers The Wicked Witch of the West from HHN 28’s Scary Tales: Deadly Ever After.

The Trick-Or-Treaters don’t pass up their chance to scare guests this year! They’ve made their appearance over several years of the event’s history.

Weaving in and out of the crowds, one-off characters from previous fan-favorite zones can be seen among the horde of maniacs such as:

A Vanity Ball patient

An Alien from INVASION!

A Reaper from Festival of the Deadliest

A ghostly sailor from Deadman’s Wharf

Lights, Camera, Hacktion: Eddie’s Revenge continues to be one of the best scare-zones in recent memory. The set pieces effectively and creatively fill the Hollywood streets. The characters and the performers portraying them deliver.
