Earlier today Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn took to Twitter to debunk some reports that Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 has started filming after Chris Pratt posted an update via the @TeamCoco Twitter mentioning that he was on the set of the movie.

James Gunn took to Twitter to say that filming has not quite started filming yet for the movie, but they are really close. What he did mention is that filming for the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction coming to EPCOT in 2022 has started.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be coming to theaters on May 5, 2023.
