Entertainment Experiences Returning to Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort in 2022

With the significant impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic, along with the extended closure of all Disney Theme Parks around the world. Disney made tremendous cuts to many fan-favorite experiences at many of its parks. Since reopening and the parks returning to pre-pandemic attendance, Disney has slowly brought back many of its famous entertainment experiences.

In 2022, “World of Color” and “Fantasmic!” will be returning to the Disneyland Resort, along with the anticipated return of the “Main Street Electrical Parade” just in time for the parade’s 50th Anniversary.

Returning to Walt Disney World Resort. “Festival Of Fantasy” and “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” Returning to Magic Kingdom and Friendship Faire receiving an update for the 50th Celebration.

“Fantasmic!” will return in 2022 to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with an All-New Sequence featuring New Characters, stunts, and special effects that were never before seen in the show.

“Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” will now officially be renamed “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire” to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. Favorite scenes will return plus a brand new opening and finale with Mickey and Friends in their EARidescent best!. The show will debut a new song “Where the Magic Feels Like Home”.

There are still so many entertainment offerings that have yet returned to the parks with Most character meet and greet being omitted from today’s festivities.
